The process of purchasing your report is simple. It can be done in three easy steps:

1. Identify the company
2. Confirm your selection
3. Pay for and view your report

Identify the Company
Searching by Company Name

Enter the company name in the search field on the Home page, using the official name as captured at CIPC. If you don’t get a result, use a shorter version and possible matches will be displayed.

Searching by Registration Number

Choose the Registration Number option and enter the registration number as captured at CIPC. If you don’t get a result, use a shorter version and possible matches will be displayed.

Company List

The company list will return the top fifty results that match your input criteria. Make your selection by clicking the "SEARCH" link on the correct company.

Confirm Selection

The confirmation page will display the official company name, registration number and company type. Click on "GET DETAILED REPORT", and then "PROCEED TO PAYMENT" to complete the search.

Pay for your Report

On the Payment page you will be required to provide us with contact and payment details. The email address provided will be used to send you a copy of the report. SACompany’s secure online credit card payment facility will process the credit card details provided.

Important: For security reasons, SACompany does not store credit card information.

Registered Company Information

This section of the report contains important information about the company as it is registered at the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC). The information includes (when available):
- Registration and business commencement dates
- Tax Registration information
- Share information

Director/Member details

This section includes information about the active and inactive directors and board members of the company, such as:
- Name
- ID Number
- Status
- Residential and Postal Addresses

Auditor/Account Officer Details

This section covers the auditor/account officer details of the company, including:
- Name
- ID Number
- Status
- Residential and Postal Addresses

History of Registered Changes

This section is particularly important as it records changes in the history of the company, for example:
- Appointments
- Resignations
- Company Status Changes

Get your report

No problem. Use our Find it For You form to tell us about the company and we will try and find it for you. In order for us to locate the company, we’ll need some information from you.

Don’t have a credit or debit card handy? No problem. Pay-U accepts credit, debit as well as Instant EFT payments.

What is Automated/Instant EFT?

Instant or automated EFT is a streamlined version of traditional EFT. It makes a bank transfer a lot faster and easier by pre-populating most of the fields, only requiring unique buyer information (e.g. account and 1-time pin).

How does it work?
  1. Once you have confirmed the report to purchase, click Submit Payment and you will then be directed to the Pay-U Payment site.
  2. Choose your payment method from the available options:
    - i-Pay – for Instant EFT
    - Debit/Credit Card
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Select your Bank from the available options:
    - Absa
    - Capitec
    - FNB
    - Investec
    - Standard Bank
  5. Log into your bank using your internet banking profile.
  6. Select the correct account to debit for the transaction.
Payment Options
Credit/Debit Visa and Mastercard

This payment option is the quickest and your report will be sent immediately. Please note that this process requires a 3D Secure-activated card. Normally, this is done automatically; however, sometimes it may require activation by a branch of your bank. Remember, 3D secure authentication provides a secure and fraud-free e-commerce experience.


i-Pay allows you to instantly pay for your report by electronically transferring funds using Internet banking.

Is 3D Secure?

3D Secure provides an extra step during the online payment process to ensure that only you, the cardholder, use your card. Also known as Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode or Amex Safekey, it allows you to enter your previously selected PIN/Password or a One Time Pin - helping your bank to know it is you shopping online. With an additional focus on the safety of e-commerce transactions, your bank may have already registered you for the service, or you may be required to register during your next online purchase.
